Our Vision 

Our goal is to nurture confident and enthusiastic learners who show respect for each other and our staff. We aim for them to recognise and appreciate their own strengths as well as those of their peers. By fostering a ‘can do’ attitude, we encourage a strong connection to learning and their community. Our school is part of the successful Symphony Learning Trust, and as part of this family of schools, we are supported by the excellent resources available to it.

Our school is situated in the heart of the national Forest overlooking Thornton Reservoir. Our children frequently enjoy outdoor learning experiences both inside and outside of the school grounds, where they can fully engage in the outdoor learning environment; enjoying nature walks in the beautiful surrounding area, studying plants and wildlife up close, immersing themselves in hands-on experiences and fostering a deep appreciation of the natural world. We feel this plays a vital role in the education and well-being of our pupils.
